AHHH! IT'S ALIVE!
For any of you following on my facebook page/twitter, you'll know a mean (apparently very creative) virus took hold of my computer on Thursday, so I have been unable to post. Thanks to the AMAZINGNESS of Michael's friend Christian, my computer has now been returned to me (not only virus free but also with all of my programs, etc. still on it!) So I am SO SO SORRY to all of you since you were deprived of my awesome Friday post, but don't worry, I shall have it on the blog tomorrow :)
Two more awards today!
I was nominated for The Addictive Blogger Award (again) and The Illuminating Blogger Award by the lovely Choc Chip Uru of Go Bake Yourself! OK, so not only is she a chocolate lover after my own heart, and she blogs some of the most insanely delicious recipes--SHE'S 16! I KNOW! She's probably so over everyone having to mention that she's 16--but trust us girly, this is very impressive for 16. When I was 16 the only thing I made was out of a box. And that was rare. I was too busy flirting with boys and getting tan to worry about cooking! So--know how amazing you are! And thank you so so SO much for the awards! :)
Posts from this week
Recipes from the blog that I made this week
Garlic Cheese Chicken Roll-Ups (WITH UPDATED PHOTOS! finally)
Ooey Gooey Heavenly Brownies (made in payment to Christian for fixing my computer)
Mini Savory Pies with Spinach and Goat Cheese
I love the idea of these little savory pies, I might even try to put some turkey in them or something.
It's getting ridiculous. All the bloggers posting recipes from what seems like the best Cookbook of ALL TIME! (The Cookie Dough Lover's Cookbook) *sob* I WANT THAT COOKBOOK! These are waffles...with COOKIE DOUGH. Cookie dough waffles people! OMG!
This ice cream was the WINNER at the Brooklyn Ice Cream Takedown!!! It's chocolatey and topped with a Biscoff cookie, and one of Susan's prizes was being able to make and freeze A BUNCH of her ice cream...obviously she's going to give me some, right? Right :P.
Movies/TV Talk
Michael and I finished watching the entire "Friends" series this last week. We like to have an upbeat comedy/sitcom to watch together, so we are sort of in the midst of the hunt for the perfect one (that we haven't watched yet). We've already done The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Friends, South Park, and Scrubs. And, I already watch (and Michael doesn't want to) Modern Family, Cougar Town, 30 Rock, The Office, and a bunch of others I can't think of right now. Currently we're attempting Arrested Development, but I'm not sure how that's going to pan out. Anyone have any suggestions or thoughts?
