Movies/TV Talk
Once Upon A Time-I feel bad for poor Dr. Frankenstein. And for Rumple, he loves Belle and this is just so sad :(. I also love how much the show is playing into people's infatuation with Hook, lol, they're like "Oh he's injured in the hospital bed? Good let's make him be flirty and cheeky and make all those girls (and guys) swoon!" And omg the new guy who came into town is gonna stress me out! (although I absolutely adore the actor and will always think of him as Bobby Ray from Sweet Home Alabama)
Girls-Awww Shosh and Ray were super cute this episode. I also love that Marnie got a "pretty person" job. And I feel bad for Adam. I don't care what anyone says I like him and Hannah together. And is it just me or was Thomas John calling her "Danna"?
How I Met Your Mother-ughhh hipsters lol! I also loved Robin's morning song "she's exaggerating to make a poiiint!" Also---the continuity monster is freaking out over the fact that Barney's half sister we saw two seasons ago is not the same as the one we saw in this episode.
Supernatural-*nerdgasm* This ep. was like a love letter to all nerd-dom. I love Felicia Day. I love her on this show. Fun quotes="These kids today with their texting and murder." and, of course, "Have fun storming the castle"!!!---Princess Bride quote on Supernatural! I can die now. The ending was suuper hilarious too. Michael and I are liking how they're building back up their network this season (considering last season there was no Bobby, no Cas, and like everyone else was dead AND NO IMPALA!). Now we've got Cas, Garth, and apparently "Charlie". In other news, Wednesday night I had a dream where Michael and I were meeting Jared & Jensen (AKA Sam&Dean) after the show, as we'd apparently done multiple times. They knew us. Also, when I was 14 I had dated a young (Gilmore Girls days) Jared-so we knew each other from that as well. They gave us a ride home and Jared's baby (Thomas Colton) was in the car and we told him what a cool and Supernatural-esque name that was. And lots more references to how we'd dated were made and we went to his house and I dunno...it was weird but pretty awesome.
Modern Family-Ahahahaaaaa the godfather part at the end!!
30 Rock-Awwww yay good for Kenneth! And...of course...Liz is adopting children versions of Tracy & Jenna...haa.
The Office-Sad ending :( I really like how they're addressing the fact that there's a camera crew there, though.
Glee-Ok I adore that they sang "No Scrubs"-ahhh nostalgia. And SUCH an amazing version of "locked Out of Heaven". However I'm so confused about the fact that Blaine & Kurt are liking other people?? And Tina likes Blaine? Wha? Best of all though, is the rendition of "Baby Got Back" from this episode. Have you ever heard of Jonathan Coulton? He's a comedic musical artist (who Michael and I love). And Glee totally ripped off his version of "Baby Got Back" for their episode--which I was stoked about until I saw this article. Apparently poor JoCo gets no credit. Uncool Glee.
The Vampire Diaries-I just feel so bad for Stefan all the time (also ewwwww Rebecca/Stefan sex). I wish the show would just make Elena come to her senses already *sigh*. Don't get me wrong, I adore Damon and feel bad for him too, but you guys already know my feelings on all of this.
