Christine said, "I must admit i was so skeptical. I mean 48 hours? Was this a sick joke? Yet for the better part of my existence i have been c.c cookie challenged. And i love them, so the fact that i couldent make a good one to save my life hurt that much more...you were so right! I felt like a rockstar when these came out of the oven. My life will now be divided into two categories. Before and after " the 48 " hours. Thank you so much."On a different note....I um....I suppose tomorrow's the Super Bowl? Yeah? Well, football isn't really a thing in my apartment, but if you're having a party with yummy yummy food (which I could totally get behind that!) I posted a round up of some recipe ideas last year, and check out my recipe index for more!
Award
My darling friend Laura, from Pies and Plots, nominated me for a Liebster Award! I adore Laura, she is funny, unique, has a wonderful talent for writing, and she manages to bake up sooo many delicious treats (even though she can't eat chocolate! THAT is talent!) So, pretty much, the Liebster Award is given to bloggers by other bloggers who lurve them. The awarded have to share 11 facts about themselves, answer 11 questions by the blogger who nominated them, share 11 new questions, and nominate 11 other bloggers.
Now...I've been given this award before, so I won't ask new questions or nominate new bloggers, but I will answer all the questions because that is new! :D
11 Facts about Kayle
- I'm extremely slow to technology. It always takes me awhile to switch over to the new thing (took me forever to change from cassettes to CD's, and then from CD's to mp3's for example).
- I'm convinced the little girl, Agnes, from Despicable Me is my future daughter.
- I love cliches. Gimme red roses, cheesy moments, traditional stuff. Love it.
- My intense obsession with chocolate is fairly recent, in the scheme of things. I used to be a vanilla girl (vanilla ice cream, cake, and pudding) who only liked chocolate in candy.
- I'm not supposed to have caffeine. I have "naturally high energy" (my heart beats quicker than most people and my pupils are generally more dilated and obviously...I have more energy). I'm like a hummingbird. Luckily for me, I don't like coffee or soda.
- I've never smoked anything in my life, or done anything more than be tipsy. And that was only twice. I really hated it. When I drink I just get sleepy. It's dumb.
- I have no intentions of really ever getting a pet, perhaps someday after having kids-but probably only a teacup pig, then :P
- I don't sweat...like...hardly ever. It's weird. I don't know why but I'm not complaining-it's nice not being gross and smelly and sweaty, hehe.
- I wanna go to Italy sooooo bad.
- At my brother's baptism, when I was 2.5, I got upset that no one was paying attention to me so I stood on the steps and began to sing Frère Jacques. I then had attention. My poor baby brother.
- I have a very severe television addiction and I am okay with it.
- If you could meet one celebrity who would it be and why?
Ummm...hm. Reese Witherspoon because I love her and am a similar type and would love her help/advice in making me exactly like her :P. - Where is the best place you have taken a vacation?
Either Disney World or my grandma's condo in the Bahamas. - What is your favorite thing to do on a day off?
Watch TV and make a bunch of food! - What is your favorite TV show?
HOW CAN I CHOOSE??! Supernatural. The Vampire Diaries. Gilmore Girls. How I Met Your Mother. Buffy. Charmed. - What is your favorite season – spring, summer, fall, or winter, and why?
Spring/Summer! I love warm weather and it's happy and bright and I love it. - What is your favorite thing you have posted on your blog?
Can't pick. Can't do it. I listed some of my faves on this post though. - What made you start blogging?
I was bored and bummed and I had become really obsessed with reading food blogs so I figured, "What the hey?" - Where do you see yourself in five years?
Living in California, successfully acting, married, hopefully a kid or 2. - If you could have a superhero power what would it be?
TELEKINESIS! That's just because I like it. For practicality's sake though teleportation would be really handy. - Since I have never been on a first date, what would your ideal first date be like?
Romantic and cliche' :P. Roses, great food, maybe a beach or sunset, great conversation, great guy, great kiss. Actually, my first date with Michael was pretty great. Movie, dinner, fireworks, great kiss. - Do you have a good luck charm?
Not really, no. When I was a young teen I had a pair of underwear I swore was lucky, though, hehe!

Movies/TV Talk
Girls-Don't do drugs kids, that'll be a lesson to ya, lol. I was also super stoked about Marnie and Booth (AKA one of the guys from The Lonely Island) finally hooking up...but then it got super weird so...yeah...I dunno.
Cougar Town-This episode made me feel kinda bad for Bobby and Tom :(
How I Met Your Mother-wasn't new this week but I did learn that it's been renewed for a 9th, and final, season: where the mother will be revealed! Yay!
Pretty Little Liars-I don't like where like..any of this is going. Ezra! Come baaaack!
The New Normal-AHAHAHAAAA the breastfeeding flash mob to "Milkshake"! I diiie.
Supernatural-Yes. I loved this episode-getting back to the good stuff. And not being quite so mean to poor John. And I always love a good piece of back story :)
The Big Bang Theory-"My work is suffering because of all the...laid...I'm getting." and everything that came thereafter from Sheldon's mouth, just...classic! "whimsically inventive"--there's hope for Amy Farrah Fowler's lady parts!
The Office-I love the Pam/Dwight bonding. What I don't love is this sound dude, Brian. I thought he was just nice but now I can see he's all into Pam and stuff! Uncool man! Additionally, good for Kevin telling off the senator, he had it comin'!
Glee-They have a point, the glee club is currently full of some great looking guys, I loved the "Hot in Herre" mashup song with them, hilarious! Also, really Rachel? Nudity for a student film? No. Nonono. Thank goodness she came to her senses.
The Vampire Diaries-I love Stefan, he totally listed 3 of my fave 80's movies (including my all time favorite the Princess Bride) as a defense for the decade. And oh boy that was some ending (SPOILER ALERTS) Kol's dead, Klaus is trapped, Salvatore smack down, and finally a completed hunter's mark. Unsure of what's gonna happen with the cure but I betcha a million imaginary dollars that Silas will be this and/or next season's big bad.
30 Rock-WHERE ARE ALL THE BABY PIGEONS??! Law&Order: SVU cameo!! Gotham Moms! Clear dishwashers! Grizz & Hers! Pete's busted! Liz's great granddaughter and immortal Kenneth! Goodbye 30 Rock, we'll miss you.
