Something Saturdays (11/8/14)

I'm sooo sad CookieWeek is ending! I had so much fun-didn't you? A big thank you to Susan and Kim for organizing this thang!

Kevin Spacey is amazinggg at impressions!

ERMAGERD. At first I was like "Hm...can't tell how this is gonna be." until the elevator....O...M...G.

This week I was pretty productive-I cleaned the house and cooked and did bloggy things. Feeling pretty good. I also spent a little time with a friend and my mom and brother. I even spent the night at my mom's house because my key stuck and wouldn't turn in the ignition. Fun. However, I think it's ok now.

Today is fun because I'm trying on bridesmaid dresses with 2 of my girls (Emily, my cousin, is in town from NYC, and I'm going with her and Michael's sister. It was supposed to be all the maids but Alex is going to the OSU/Michigan game, Carrie has to work, and Angela is in Wyoming visiting her boyfriend.) and we're going to actually definitively choose the dress. Sooo..hooray!

Movies/TV Talk (assume there'll be spoilers)
Dracula Untold-Michael wanted to see this movie because it reminded him of one of his favorite games (Castlevania: Lords of Shadow). I wanted to see it because...vampires. It was very good. We both nerded out over the use of vampire lore (especiaaaally at the end with Mina...!!!) and Michael loved the action (even I thought it was pretty dang cool) and I adored the love story and the sweetness of Vlad. Plus, Tywin Lanister was this really gross really terrifying vampire. So there's that. It seemed like it may have set us up for a sequel, and I kinda hope it does well enough to get one! (Not holding my breath, though. I have a feeling this may go the way of Van Helsing-which we also like.)

Once Upon a Time-But...wheeeere is Helga?? And why does Emma look like her? And ugh Rumple is a big ole hypocrite.

Resurrection-Margaret is officially terrifying. I'm so sad that Marty's parents disappeared before he got to tell them who he was. At least he can (hopefully) take care of Jenny now.

The Originals-The continuity police that I am is very happy that they brought back that Tatia thing that was mentioned seasons ago. For once I'm not hating Cole. And poor...poor Elijah.

Law & Order:SVU-What's with that ending?? What happened!? Gahhh

Hot in Cleveland-Ugh. Leave it to Hot in Cleveland to have Joy get proposed to by 3 men and end up with none of them. Grrrr.

Parenthood-Uh Hank gonna like...get back with Sandy? More importantly--Yay Joel! GET 'ER!

A to Z-so this show has been canceled but is finishing out the season and I really hope they can maybe just condense the entire story into this 1 season. Maybe?

The Vampire Diaries-I was so happy for Alaric until I realized that it means Elena won't get back her memories....anyone who knows me knows I HATE people's memories being messed with...argh!
