My Birthday: A Recap in Photos

So...I was gonna share a recipe with you guys today. Really, I was.
But...I'm tired.
I had a super fun/super busy birthday.

And today I've got an audition and some stuff to get done, because tomorrow and Friday I'm filming an episode of True Crime, and Saturday I have to work. So instead, you guys get to see some pictures of my birthday!!

Yay...!...?...!

I began the day opening my presents from my mom and Michael's mom. Mom got me an AirBake cookie sheet (OMG I'm so excited to use it!), a meat thermometer, and a mandoline (which I will be returning because Jen was sweet enough to give me one too <3). Michael's mom got me a grid cooling rack and the cutest biscuit cutters ever....I don't know why but I think they're just adorable!

Next, I met up with my (3rd) cousin Emily (who recently-ish moved here to get her PHD at Columbia...she's a smartyyy). We went to Levain Bakery (FINALLY!!)-OMG IT WAS AMAZING!
Emily got the Oatmeal Raisin, I got the Chocolate Chip Walnut, and we split the Chocolate PB Chip.
We gave them all rave reviews.
Emily took her 1st bite of her oatmeal cookie and was like, "Oh yes...this was a very good idea."

I am so in love with their chocolate chip cookie. Underbaked on the inside, crunchy on the outside, ooey and gooey and just SO. GOOD!! Definitely lived up to the hype. This is exactly what I wanna eat on my birthday :D
The Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip was sooo good too. Emily finished her half immediately. I gave the choc. chip priority so I now have most of my half sitting in my apartment, waiting to be eaten. :P

Then Emily and I took a twilight birthday stroll through Central Park. It was super pretty and we got some beautiful pictures--plus I finally saw Belvedere Castle!

Yeah...that's gorgeous.

And then finally we met up with Michael (who had just gotten off work) and my friend Brandon (who is moving soon so this was my last chance to see him! :( ) at Outback Steakhouse. We had SO much fun. We laughed, we ate, the food was delicious, I got a free birthday sundae, and it was just such a great time. I am very lucky to have these people in my life. :)

And I'm very lucky to have all of you! All of your birthday love that you guys sent me really warmed my heart! I love each and every one of you (even if I don't know you! :P). Thanks for being a part of a great birthday. :)
