Something Saturdays (11/3/12)

Stuff got real this week with Hurricane Sandy (Halloween got sorta eclipsed). Michael and I got very lucky and we were able to keep power and were completely fine. Others were not so lucky. If you're interested in helping, you can donate to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief.

Anyway, since I wasn't able to do much all week (hello non-functioning public transit systems) I spent a lot of time relaxing, catching up on stuff, and-of course, cooking and baking. :)

Movies/TV Talk
Watched the movie "Splash" (with Tom Hanks) for the first time on Thursday. It was super cute but...I'm not gonna lie...I don't really understand how Tom Hanks was magically able to breathe underwater at the end...and/or why he didn't get a fin (poor guy's gonna be a cripple amongst the mer population). And how's the sexy time gonna happen with her fin? Huh?

Supernatural-good episode! Dean: Vampirates!/ Benny:You know, in all the years we sailed, nobody every came up with that /Dean: C'mon that's like the third thing you think of/ Benny:No...it's not. ((not exact quotes...the best I could remember)

The Vampire Diaries-I love all the elaborate back stories they come up with. So. Good!
