Something Saturdays (4/20/13)

After reading this list I now feel like I need to call my mom and have her scrounge up any and all of my old toys...because we've gotta just have an untapped treasure trove!

PLEASE TELL ME THIS IS HAPPENING.

My mind was blown the other day when I realized this kid who seemed like he was in everything for awhile (he was in "A Kid in King Arthur's Court", for example) grew up to be this guy from the American Pie movies!!! Whaaaa??!

AH! AND! A mystery was solved! That family recipe I told you guys about? I'm like 99% sure it's a variation of a scrippelle and it's actually from the part of my family that's from Abruzzo.

Oh look, another new episode of the series I'm in, Rock-Star Cafe. (I even sing a smidge in this one)

Recipes from the blog that I made this week
Growing Scallions (I actually do this frequently and forgot to put it on this list)

Recent links bookmarked (visit my Pinterest for more)
Peanut Butter Brownie Cobbler (Sugar Plum Blog)
I mean...how could I not?
Butterfinger Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies (Sally's Baking Addiction)
I LOVE BUTTERFINGERS! Ahhh crazy about these cookies.

Movies/TV Talk (assume there'll be spoilers)
Game of Thrones-WHAT? Dany you can't just give one of your dragons away!! Also, eesh poor Jaime.

How I Met Your Mother-Hmmm, stuff is looking weird for Barney and Robin. And I'm not sure how I feel about all this Italy nonsense (aside from thinking their hypotheticals/Marshall's outfit are hilarious)

The Vampire Diaries-*sob* I miss Jeremy! And Stelena! I'm also super over emotionless Elena. And all stressed about Silas (and his weird face).

Glee-I don't even know what to say about this episode. It was good, I just...don't have anything to say. Oh, except, I did kind of find all the Harlem Shake-ing around the college funny. :P

Breaking Dawn Pt. 2-Ok, it's no secret that I adore the Twilight series of books and really do not like the movies (for various reasons, we won't get into it right now). But I've thought each movie was progressively better than the previous one. So I'm watching this, all like, "Ok, so far so good. Seems like slightly better than all that came before it, Ok." and then I get to the fight scene and this was my reaction-WHAT THE EFF????!!! THIS WAS ALL ENTIRELY MADE UP! CARLISLE DOES NOT DIE! OR JASPER!!  OR SETH! OR LEAH! OR LIKE ANY OF THOSE PEOPLE (including the Volturi)!WHAT WHAT WHAT!? So mad.....
....and then I was like "Oh, ok. Good." when I saw that was just Aro seeing the future. Ha...
And then the ending was just right. (Loooved that they showed the last page of the book! And the credits.)
So...aside from the awful acting on the parts of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson (at least), and the fact that they really did not make a big enough deal out of Bella's shielding ability...not too bad.

Silver Linings Playbook-I really liked it. Totally sweet. And of course I love Jennifer Lawrence.
